VinFast has secured partnerships with more than 50 dealers in India to establish an extensive network of electric motorcycle showrooms, according to letters of intent signed between the parties. The dealership network will span 34 cities across 15 states and union territories, positioning the Vietnamese manufacturer to tap into India's growing electric two-wheeler market.
The expansion comes as VinFast pursues an aggressive growth strategy across Southeast and South Asia. By establishing a broad dealer presence, the company aims to enhance its visibility and accessibility to Indian consumers considering electric motorcycles as a sustainable transportation alternative.
This initiative complements VinFast's broader mobility ambitions in the region. The company has also announced plans to launch an electric bus platform in the United States, underscoring its commitment to electrification across multiple vehicle segments and geographic markets.
Meanwhile, VinFast has maintained its leading position in Vietnam's automotive market for 24 consecutive months, reinforcing its dominance in its home market. The company's multi-pronged approach—strengthening domestic operations while expanding internationally—reflects its strategy to become a regional electric vehicle powerhouse.
