At a press conference here, Mukesh Sahani, president of the Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP), launched a scathing attack on Election Commission official Gyanesh Kumar, claiming the poll body has become compromised in its impartiality. Sahani alleged that the Election Commission has effectively transformed into an extension of the BJP's political machinery.
Making a provocative statement, Sahani suggested that were he to be pardoned for committing a serious crime, Kumar would be his first target. However, the VIP chief clarified his comment by emphasizing that as law-abiding citizens, such extreme actions would never be undertaken in practice.
