The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has released a comprehensive timeline for deploying OriginOS 7 across its device portfolio in the Indian market. The update, built on Android 17, represents a significant software refresh for Vivo users and will introduce new features and performance improvements.

According to the company's rollout plan, the X Fold 5 and X300 series will be among the first devices to receive OriginOS 7, with the update expected to begin reaching users by late October. The phased approach allows Vivo to manage the deployment process systematically while monitoring device performance across its user base.

Vivo has published an exhaustive list of eligible devices that will eventually receive the OriginOS 7 update, though not all models will receive the software simultaneously. The staggered rollout schedule ensures that newer and premium devices get priority access to the latest operating system version before it becomes available to older or budget-oriented models.

Users of eligible Vivo devices can expect to receive over-the-air update notifications as their devices approach their scheduled update window. The company has not released specific dates for devices beyond the initial October launch, with subsequent phases likely extending into the following months depending on device popularity and regional demand in India.
