Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of the X Fold 6 in India on October 6, expanding its foldable device offerings to the subcontinent. The company will simultaneously unveil the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE at the event, rounding out its product refresh for the quarter.
The X Fold 6 represents Vivo's latest entry into the premium foldable category. Originally unveiled in the Chinese market in June, the device features an 8.02-inch inner AMOLED display that provides an expansive screen real estate when unfolded. The specifications and pricing for the Indian variant remain to be announced at the launch event.
Vivo's strategy of introducing multiple devices simultaneously reflects the brand's effort to capture different market segments.
