VNA, Hanoi media outlets win top honors at capital press awards

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and journalists from the Hanoi Press and Radio-Television Agency were among the major recipients at this year's capital press awards ceremony, demonstrating continued excellence in regional media coverage.

The Hanoi Press and Radio-Television Agency secured both a special prize and an A-category award for outstanding journalistic work. VNA reporters contributed significantly to the awards tally, claiming one B-category prize and three C-category honors for their reporting efforts.

Tien Phong newspaper and Quoc Phong Thu Do (Capital Defence) newspaper also received A-category awards, reflecting strong performance across Hanoi's major news organizations. The recognition underscores the professional standards maintained by Vietnam's capital-based media outlets.

The awards program continues to serve as a benchmark for journalistic quality in Hanoi, encouraging media professionals to maintain high editorial standards while covering significant developments affecting the nation's political, social, and defense sectors.

These accolades come amid broader initiatives within Vietnam's media landscape to recognize excellence in reporting on party building, professional innovation, and educational content across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
