Warisan, one of Sabah's major political parties, held internal elections to determine its leadership structure, with the party's highest two positions securing no challengers. However, competition intensified for the three vice-presidential vacancies, drawing eight candidates eager to claim positions within the party hierarchy. Among those contesting the vice-presidential roles are incumbent officeholders and sitting parliamentarians, underscoring the significance of the posts within Warisan's organisational framework. Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis, the incumbent vice-president and Member of Parliament for Kota Belud, entered the race to retain her position. Also competing for the role is Azis Jamman, who serves as the party's information chief. The election results will shape Warisan's leadership team as the party navigates its political positioning in Sabah's complex electoral landscape.
