MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has identified a low pressure area (LPA) positioned off Palawan within the Philippine area of responsibility, which will trigger widespread precipitation across the archipelago.
According to PAGASA's early morning forecast, the weather system presents a low probability of strengthening into a tropical depression. However, meteorologists emphasize that the system will deliver substantial rainfall to multiple regions across the country beginning Thursday.
