Weather system outside PAR to bring rain to Visayas, Mindanao
A low pressure area trough positioned beyond the Philippine area of responsibility is expected to trigger rainfall across parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, the state weather agency said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued the weather advisory in its early morning forecast, alerting residents in the affected regions to prepare for wet conditions.
The trough of the low pressure system, though located outside Philippine territorial weather monitoring zones, is forecast to influence atmospheric conditions over portions of the central and southern archipelago. The agency identified Visayas and Mindanao as areas most likely to experience precipitation as the system exerts its influence.
Rainfall is expected to be most pronounced on Tuesday as the system's effects peak, PAGASA said. Residents and local government units in vulnerable areas were advised to monitor subsequent weather bulletins for updates on intensity and duration of the expected rains.
The weather bureau recommended precautionary measures including monitoring of low-lying and flood-prone areas, while maritime interests were advised to exercise caution during operations in affected waters. Additional forecasts are scheduled throughout the day as meteorologists track the system's movement and intensity.
