West Bengal launches innovation challenge to tackle grassroots development issues

The West Bengal government has unveiled the 'Seva First Innovation Challenge-Eastern Zone', a platform designed to harness grassroots innovation in addressing pressing developmental issues. The initiative seeks solution-oriented proposals from individuals and organizations working across multiple sectors that impact rural and semi-urban communities in eastern India.

The challenge specifically targets four priority areas: improving healthcare accessibility, reducing agricultural losses, managing water scarcity and implementing effective waste management solutions.
