The Premier League club appealed to its fanbase to avoid such conduct at future matches, citing the incident as inconsistent with the values the organisation seeks to uphold.
The chanting incident occurred during the away fixture at Turf Moor, where supporters were heard singing material containing an anti-Palestinian message. West Ham's statement underscored the club's commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all attendees at matches.
