Wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law arrested in murder conspiracy in Ramgarh

Police in Ramgarh have announced the arrest of four suspects within 24 hours of uncovering a murder case that authorities say involved conspiracy among close family members. The victim, identified as Rohit Kumar, was killed in what investigators describe as a premeditated attack planned by his wife and relatives.

According to police, those arrested include Anjoo Devi, the victim's wife; Sundari Devi, his mother-in-law; Dineshwar Prajapati, his brother-in-law; and an acquaintance named Shaukat Ansari. Officials stated that the four suspects conspired together to carry out the murder.

Kumar's body was discovered in bushes near the Pararu drainage channel. Investigators recovered a bloodstained wooden plank and a dupatta (scarf) at the scene, which have been seized as evidence in the case. Police indicated that these items would play a crucial role in establishing the circumstances surrounding the death.

The case marks a significant development in regional crime investigations, highlighting the involvement of multiple family members in what authorities are treating as a planned homicide. Officials are continuing their investigation to establish further details about the motive and sequence of events leading to the victim's death.
