Police in Sangli have registered a case against Imran Pakhali and his associate Mohsin following a complaint filed by a woman detailing systematic abuse spanning two years. According to the complaint, the woman was subjected to repeated sexual exploitation and had obscene videos created of her, which were subsequently used for blackmail and extortion of approximately 17 lakh rupees.
The complaint further alleges that when the woman refused to convert her religion, she was subjected to physical assault that resulted in a fractured hand. The allegations paint a picture of coercion extending beyond financial exploitation to include pressure regarding matters of faith.
Imran Pakhali has been arrested and remanded to police custody following the registration of the case. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the roles of both accused individuals. The case represents a serious criminal matter involving multiple charges including sexual assault, extortion, and criminal intimidation.
