Telangana police have arrested a woman on charges of orchestrating the murder of her 26-year-old husband with assistance from two alleged paramours in Kamareddy district. Investigators said the woman, driven by illicit extramarital affairs, allegedly hatched a conspiracy with the two men to eliminate her spouse.
According to police, the trio lured the victim under the pretext of socializing and supplied him with alcohol to render him intoxicated. Once the man was incapacitated, one of the accused allegedly strangled him using a rope while the other restrained his limbs to prevent resistance.
Following the killing, the conspirators allegedly transported the body to a nearby pond and disposed of it there. The murder came to light during a subsequent investigation after the victim's disappearance raised suspicion among family members and neighbors.
Authorities have registered a murder case and initiated further investigations into the conspiracy. Police said additional charges may be filed based on evidence gathered during the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the crime.
