Woman arrested for impersonating immigration officer in work permit scam
Malaysian authorities have arrested a housewife accused of posing as an immigration officer to fraudulently process work permits. The suspect was apprehended while conducting a transaction with a Chinese national who reportedly paid approximately RM6,000 for the illegal documentation.

The arrest was made following an investigation into immigration fraud operations in the country. Authorities discovered the suspect had been impersonating an official from the immigration department to deceive foreign nationals seeking work authorisation in Malaysia.
The Chinese national involved in the case had allegedly handed over substantial payment to the suspect in exchange for work permit documentation. Investigators determined that the permits issued through this scheme were fraudulent and held no legal validity.
