Sain Begum was taken into custody by Bagpat police on charges related to the death of her husband, marking a significant development in a case that has remained active for nearly a year. According to law enforcement officials, Begum allegedly orchestrated the murder in conspiracy with a man identified as Sarim, with whom she had maintained an illicit relationship.

Following the alleged crime, both Begum and Sarim fled the area to evade arrest. However, the relationship between the two fugitives subsequently deteriorated, prompting Begum to distance herself from Sarim. She subsequently entered into a new marriage with a young man from Muzzafarnagar.

The arrest brings authorities closer to unraveling the circumstances surrounding the husband's death. Investigators are continuing their probe to establish the full details of the conspiracy and to locate Sarim, who remains at large. The case highlights the criminal investigation unit's persistence in tracking suspects across state lines and through changing personal circumstances.
