Woman attacked by live-in partner en route to police station in Indore

A woman was attacked by her live-in partner in Indore on Tuesday as she made her way to a police station to file a complaint against him. The assault took place at Palasiya Chauraha in the city's commercial district. According to police officials, the man, with whom the victim had been living for approximately three years, intercepted her on the street and attacked her throat with a sharp weapon. Following the assault, the accused reportedly attempted to injure himself as well. Both individuals were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical care. The woman's condition has been reported as stable and out of danger by hospital authorities. After receiving treatment, the accused was taken into police custody for further investigation and legal proceedings. Indore police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the violent altercation between the two individuals.
