Woman attacked on Kelana Jaya LRT train during peak hours
A 45-year-old passenger reported being assaulted by an unknown attacker aboard a crowded Light Rail Transit train on Tuesday. The incident occurred during rush hour on the Kelana Jaya line.

The middle-aged woman said she was struck multiple times in the face and head while travelling on the LRT service in what she described as an unprovoked attack. The assault took place in a congested coach during the afternoon commute, when the train would have been carrying a substantial number of passengers.
According to the victim's account, the assailant was a stranger with whom she had no prior interaction. The nature of the incident has raised concerns about passenger safety on the rapid transit system, which serves thousands of commuters daily across the Klang Valley.
The incident adds to ongoing discussions about security measures on public transportation in Malaysia. Commuters have previously raised concerns about personal safety during peak travel periods when overcrowding can limit the ability of other passengers to intervene or seek assistance.
