Woman critically injured in stabbing attack while jogging in Brooklyn

Katie Suarez, 28, was attacked while jogging on the Shore Parkway Greenway in Brooklyn at approximately 8 pm local time on October 30. The assailant stabbed Suarez in the neck before fleeing the scene, leaving her with critical injuries.
Emergency responders arrived at the waterfront trail and transported Suarez to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where she was admitted in critical condition. Hospital officials have not released updates on her current medical status.
