Woman escapes abduction attempt in Dehradun; suspects flee as bystanders intervene

A woman in Dehradun narrowly escaped an apparent abduction attempt on Wednesday morning after two men in a car tried to drag her off her scooter and into their vehicle. The incident occurred as the woman was returning home after dropping her daughter at a college bus stop in the city.

According to reports, the two occupants of the car blocked the woman's path and made a forcible attempt to pull her into the vehicle. The woman resisted and raised an alarm, attracting the attention of nearby residents and passersby in the area.

Faced with growing attention from bystanders, the suspects abandoned their attempt and fled the scene in the car. No injuries were reported in the incident.
