Woman injured in broad daylight shooting in Makati
A female motorist was wounded Thursday morning when unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on her vehicle in the heart of Metro Manila's business district. The attack occurred along a major thoroughfare during peak commuting hours.

The shooting took place at approximately 6:50 a.m. along Chino Roces Avenue in Makati, according to the District Tactical Operations Center of the Southern Police District. Two assailants, both riding a motorcycle, fired multiple rounds at the woman's vehicle as it traveled along the busy commercial corridor.
The victim sustained injuries from the gunfire. She was taken into custody for further questioning and medical evaluation, authorities said. Details regarding the extent of her wounds were not immediately disclosed.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident but have not yet identified the gunmen or established a motive for the attack. No arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.
