Woman killed in hit-and-run accident; accused arrested after four-day manhunt

Bopal police arrested the accused in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a woman in Sheelaj, Ahmedabad, on Thursday. The arrest came 96 hours after the incident, with officers tracking down the suspect in Rajasthan.
According to police, the victim was struck by a speeding Pulsar motorcycle in the locality. Following the collision, the rider abandoned the two-wheeler at the scene and rushed to a hospital. He subsequently fled to a friend's residence before absconding to Dungarpur in Rajasthan.
Detectives pieced together the suspect's movements using closed-circuit television recordings, the abandoned motorcycle, and information gathered from individuals connected to the accused's workplace. The leads enabled police to locate and apprehend him outside the state. The investigation is ongoing as authorities compile evidence for prosecution.
