Woman killed, two men injured in Ilocos Sur drive-by shooting
A woman was killed and two men wounded when motorcycle-riding gunmen fired on a parked vehicle in Ilocos Sur on Monday. The attack occurred in front of the Land Registry Authority office in Bantay.

The shooting incident took place in Barangay V of Bantay, Ilocos Sur, when unidentified gunmen on motorcycles opened fire at a black sports vehicle parked in front of the Land Registry Authority building. The three occupants of the vehicle came under attack without warning, according to initial reports from the Bantay Municipal Police Station.
The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two male passengers sustained gunshot wounds and were subsequently transferred to a medical facility for treatment. Responding police officers secured the area following the incident as investigators began gathering evidence and witness statements.
The motive behind the attack remained unclear as of the time of reporting. The Bantay Municipal Police Station has taken over the investigation and is pursuing leads to identify the gunmen responsible for the shooting.
