Ric Flair, the legendary professional wrestler, took to social media platform X to provide supporters with an update on his current health status while hospitalized. In his message, Flair extended thanks to the medical team treating him as well as fans who have offered their support during this period.
The wrestling icon also used the opportunity to address a separate matter that has drawn attention online. Flair clarified that he no longer owns or manages his official Facebook page, distancing himself from recent posts that have been deemed inappropriate by observers.
The clarification comes as Flair's Facebook account, which maintains a significant following, has come under scrutiny for content that does not reflect the wrestling legend's current views. By issuing a statement through his verified X account, Flair sought to prevent further misunderstandings about the source of such posts.
Flair's update reflects broader concerns among public figures regarding the security and management of their social media accounts, particularly older platforms where account control can be difficult to maintain or reclaim. The wrestler's direct communication with fans demonstrates his effort to maintain transparency during a period of personal challenge.
