Yala National Park closes two main blocks for temporary maintenance

Yala National Park will close Blocks 1 and 2, its two main wildlife viewing areas, beginning September 14 for temporary maintenance operations. The closure affects the park's most popular sections, which draw both local and international visitors seeking to observe Sri Lanka's diverse fauna including leopards, elephants, and endemic bird species.
