Yotta Data eyes $1.5 billion IPO launch in Q4 FY27

Yotta Data is preparing to launch an initial public offering in the final quarter of the current fiscal year, seeking to raise up to $1.5 billion through the equity markets. The data centre firm, backed by the Hiranandani Group, intends to file its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator SEBI in October, paving the way for a potential listing by early 2027.

The capital raise will primarily be deployed towards debt repayment and strengthening the company's balance sheet. Yotta Data has positioned itself as a key player in India's digital infrastructure space, with focus on serving the growing artificial intelligence and cloud computing sectors.

The timing of the IPO comes as investor appetite for technology and infrastructure plays remains strong, particularly those with exposure to the AI boom sweeping across the technology industry. India's data centre sector has witnessed significant expansion driven by rising demand from hyperscale companies, fintech players, and enterprises migrating workloads to the cloud.

Yotta Data's IPO plans underscore the broader momentum in India's infrastructure and technology sectors, where multiple companies have filed for public listings in anticipation of sustained growth in digital services and computing capacity requirements.
