Youth arrested for motorcycle thefts after funds run out during girlfriend visit

Police in Raigarh have arrested a young man from Gwalior on charges of theft after he allegedly began stealing motorcycles when he ran out of money during a personal visit to the region. The 28-year-old suspect had traveled to Raigarh to meet his girlfriend but reportedly resorted to vehicle theft after exhausting his funds.

Law enforcement officials apprehended the suspect using a combination of closed-circuit television footage and information provided by informants. The arrest led to the recovery of four motorcycles and one scooter, which are believed to be connected to the suspect's criminal activity in the area.

According to police statements, the investigation has resulted in the resolution of five separate vehicle theft cases. Authorities have registered cases against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and are conducting further inquiries to determine if he was involved in additional incidents in the region.
