Student Federation of India leader Aishe Ghosh has issued a call for young people across the country to mobilise in defence of the Republic's foundational values. Addressing the Democratic Youth Federation of India's state conference in Kerala, Ghosh accused the BJP and RSS of systematically undermining education and employment opportunities while eroding constitutional protections.
Ghosh contended that the current government has prioritised ideological objectives over accessible, quality education and sustainable job creation. She argued that these policies disproportionately affect young people seeking meaningful employment and educational advancement.
The SFI leader emphasised that coordinated youth resistance could prove instrumental in forcing policy reversals. She called on students and young workers to recognise their collective power in shaping the nation's political direction, framing youth mobilisation as essential to safeguarding democratic institutions.
The remarks come amid ongoing debates over education policy, employment figures, and constitutional interpretation in India, issues that have increasingly become flashpoints between opposition parties and the ruling coalition.
