PATNA — A rescue operation was launched in Patna on Tuesday after a youth climbed onto a 50-foot-high arched frame suspended above the Shikharpur Overbridge, creating a tense situation in the area.
Local authorities received information about the incident and deployed police personnel to the site. Given the height and precarious nature of the structure, rescuers determined that a crane would be necessary to safely extract the individual.
Operatives worked to position the crane carefully beneath the elevated frame where the youth was perched. The rescue operation, which lasted approximately 20 to 25 minutes, proceeded methodically to ensure the safety of both the individual and emergency personnel involved.
The youth was successfully lowered to ground level without incident. The operation concluded without reported injuries, and the individual was brought down safely from his position on the overhead structure.
