YSRCP Claims Government Using Allegations to Hide 'Super Six' Failures

The YSR Congress Party mounted a fresh offensive against the Andhra Pradesh coalition government on Thursday, accusing it of resorting to unfounded allegations against party leaders as a smokescreen for its inability to deliver on core campaign commitments.

Malladi Vishnu, a senior YSRCP spokesperson, claimed the ruling alliance was deliberately manufacturing controversies involving caste and religious divisions to shift public focus away from its record on the so-called 'Super Six' electoral pledges—key promises made during the election campaign.

The opposition party's critique centers on the government's performance on six major policy initiatives it had vowed to implement. According to Vishnu's statement, instead of addressing these unfulfilled commitments, the coalition was engaging in what he termed a strategy of political distraction through accusations targeting YSRCP members.

The charges reflect mounting tensions between the opposition and ruling coalition in the state assembly, with both sides trading accusations over governance priorities and electoral accountability.
