The YSRCP contingent gathered at the office to press for higher allocation of DSC sports quota positions, arguing that existing quotas fail to adequately represent the sports category in state government job selections. Party workers carried placards and submitted memorandums to officials outlining their demands.
Meanwhile, PETs and their representatives assembled nearby to counter the protests, asserting that the DSC recruitment process should maintain merit-based selection standards. The competing demonstrations highlighted the ongoing dispute within Andhra Pradesh's education and sports employment sectors regarding quota allocation policies.
Office authorities intervened to manage the situation as tensions mounted between the two groups.
