Zamboanga City Mayor Khymer Adan Olaso declared Wednesday, August 19, a "Day of Mourning" after a shooting at Ateneo de Zamboanga University's junior high school campus in Barangay Tumaga claimed two student lives.
In response to the incident, Olaso issued an order suspending classes at all levels throughout the city, allowing students, educators, and families time to process the tragedy.
