Zetrix AI never collected mandatory social security contributions, Perkeso clarifies
Malaysia's Social Security Organisation has clarified that Zetrix AI was only appointed to promote two voluntary insurance schemes and never handled compulsory contribution collections.

The Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) has moved to clarify the scope of Zetrix AI's involvement with the agency, stating that the company was limited to promotional activities for voluntary schemes only.
In a statement, Perkeso said Zetrix AI was appointed solely to promote two voluntary insurance products offered by the organisation. The company did not collect, process, or manage any mandatory social security contributions from employers or employees.
The clarification appears aimed at addressing public concerns about the company's role within Perkeso's operations. Mandatory contributions collected by Perkeso remain under the organisation's direct control and administration.
Perkeso administers social security benefits for Malaysian workers, including employment injury benefits, invalidity benefits, and old-age pension schemes funded through compulsory employer and employee contributions.
