Zetrix AI proposes settlement plan for RM314 million JPJ arrears

Zetrix AI, a subsidiary of MYEG Group, has formally submitted a settlement proposal addressing accumulated arrears totaling RM314 million owed to Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), the Malaysian Road Transport Department.

The proposal marks a significant step toward resolving the financial dispute that has impacted service delivery. According to the company, restoring suspended services remains the group's highest priority as it works to normalize operations and fulfill its obligations to the regulatory authority.

The submission comes amid efforts to stabilize the subsidiary's financial position and reinstate critical transport-related services that were halted due to the outstanding debt. Details regarding the settlement timeline and payment terms outlined in the proposal were not disclosed.

Zetrix AI's parent company, MYEG Group, has indicated its commitment to addressing the arrears situation comprehensively. The company is expected to work closely with JPJ to finalize the terms and facilitate the resumption of full service operations pending approval of the settlement arrangement.

The resolution of the debt is anticipated to restore normal relations between the subsidiary and the transport regulator, enabling the reinstatement of services that have been suspended as a result of the financial obligations.
