Zverev powers past Darderi to reach US Open quarter-finals
Top seed Alexander Zverev overcame a sluggish start to his campaign with a commanding victory over Italy's Luciano Darderi at the US Open on Monday. The German advanced to the quarter-finals with a 6-2 6-2 7-6(3) triumph.
