She does not control a budget or a ministry. She does command worldwide recognition and has an unusual ability to get governments, brands and film-makers to line up behind a project. She is also a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for Road Safety and the Sustainable Development Goals, as The Straits Times noted. Organisers invited her to launch a flagship project of Kuala Lumpur's Visit Malaysia 2026 preparations. The fashion house Self-Portrait, whose Penang-born founder Han Chong commissioned Sandiwara, told Variety he sees her as "Miss Malaysia".
